Teams
Since it was first formed in 1980 the VI Football League has seen a number of clubs take part in its events.
Clubs range from those organised by dedicated volunteers, those representing academic institutions and an increasing number now supported by professional football clubs.
Some clubs have just the one team with the larger clubs often having an ‘A’ and ‘B’ team in order to help develop young or inexperienced players through their ranks.
Clubs are often regionally based and meet regularly to train and compete in local leagues and events. Below is a list of all clubs/teams registered to participate in the national VI league this season.

- Other interesting information: Inter Cosmos won the VI football league shortly after the club formed in the 1997/1998 season. Many of the players from 1997 are still involved with the club today. The club is keen to attract more players in the Cheshire/Greater Manchester area to help develop more local training opportunities.
